Problems with the launcher?
Client - Direct Download
This downloads the latest game client as a .zip file, but it does not use the launcher and will not auto-update to future versions.
Important for Windows players:
If the launcher does not open at all, you are most likely missing the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime.
Install it once using
this official VC++ Redistributable download,
then launch the game again.
Not using Windows?
If you're on a Mac or Linux system, you can still run the client by setting up a Windows virtual machine. Please note, however, that the client won’t auto-update in this setup. Here’s a quick guide:
- Set up a Windows virtual machine:
- Use a virtualization tool like VirtualBox (free) or Parallels Desktop (for Mac).
- Follow the instructions on the tool’s website to install Windows in the virtual machine.
- Download and run the client:
- Once your Windows VM is up and running, download the latest client files directly from Dura:
- Download Client (no updater)
- Unzip the files and launch the client from within the Windows VM.
- Updating the client:
- Since this version doesn’t auto-update, return to this page periodically and download the latest direct client .zip again.
